Driven by innovation and a commitment to energy independence, William spearheaded the creation of an on-site biomass gasifier, a groundbreaking system that converts wood byproducts into renewable energy to power the mill itself. With decades of experience in mechanical systems, process engineering, and renewable product design, his leadership continues to redefine how local biomass can sustainably heat homes and businesses—proving that true sustainability begins at the source.
Tommy — Master Blender, Workflow & Blending Architect
As Hudson Valley Biomass. Thinking Green® Production Process Engineer, Tommy brings an exceptional blend of craftsmanship, science, and innovation to the art of pellet manufacturing. Known as our Master Blender, Tommy is the driving force behind proprietary formulation and production process that helps define the Thinking Green® brand. With his meticulously balances the chemistry of raw materials—wood species, moisture content, and density—to create pellets that burn hotter, cleaner, and longer. His precision blending methods form the backbone of our patent-driven development programs.
Jacob — Video Editor & AI Content Creator

As Project Manager at Hudson Valley Biomass Thinking Green®, Hank oversees our ongoing development—from mill improvements and equipment upgrades to collaborative roundtable discussions with vendors. With a meticulous eye for detail and a deep understanding of logistics, construction, and operational flow, Hank takes pride in guiding each project to completion safely, efficiently, and with long-term sustainability in mind. His leadership combines hands-on expertise with forward-thinking innovation, ensuring every improvement supports both performance and purpose. And on certain occasions we’re especially blessed to have his grandsons join us at the mill—always adding a little extra laughter!

Jody drives the growth, partnerships, and community impact behind Hudson Valley Biomass — Thinking Green®. As Marketing, Sales & Contracting Manager, she transforms ideas into action—building bridges between sustainable innovation, retail partners, and the customers who believe in cleaner living. With a strong background in business development and community engagement, Jody leads the company’s outreach with creativity, integrity, and purpose.
